I haven’t posted in a while...here’s why.

Alright...it's about to get real up in this blog. I don't know if it's just me or if all creatives are this way, but the thought of sharing an unfinished project paralyzes me to my core. I mean, on one hand I'm really excited to let you guys see what I'm working on, but on the other hand, my projects are pretty fluid so what you see may not be what you get in the end (wysiNwyg—my designer friends out there will get what I'm saying). BUT...I'm a firm believer in being authentic, so I'm facing my weird fear to let you see a little bit into the beautiful mess that is my current life.

Let's dive in, shall we?

It's been six months since I've dove into the world of freelancing. Here's what I have discovered...

I'm sure by now you've heard of the band, OK Go. Maybe you've heard about their insanely creative approaches to recording their music videos—dancing on treadmills, floating in zero gravity, or taking 4.2 seconds and slowing it down to create a full-length music video.

What you probably don't know about OK Go, is not only are they incredibly creative, but they also have embraced the spirit of collaboration.

While I sincerely love helping all of my clients, my soul comes alive when I get a chance to contribute to projects like this one.

So...I just sold my first stock photo last night. Two weeks ago, I decided to become a contributor to the well-known stock photography site, Shutterstock, in order to make some passive income. You know? Upload some pictures here and there and then watch the money *slowly* roll in. And when I say "slowly," I mean it. BUT, I'm happy to say within the first 10 days, I made a sale!
